What does Hive Clips AI do?+
You give Hive a long video: a podcast, stream, interview or class. It listens to the whole thing, picks the moments worth posting, cuts them into vertical clips, keeps the speaker in frame and adds animated captions. You review the picks, choose a style and render.
Do I need a powerful PC?+
No. Hive runs on normal Windows 10 and 11 laptops. The heavy thinking (finding the best moments) happens on Hive Cloud, and the rest runs on your PC. A faster PC simply renders sooner, and Hive tells you how long it will take before you start.
Can I tell the AI what to look for?+
Yes. Type what you want, like "the funniest moments", "hot takes about money" or "anything about pricing", and Hive looks through that lens instead of guessing.
Which videos can I use?+
Paste a YouTube link or drop in a video file from your PC (MP4, MOV, MKV and more). Only use videos you have the right to repost.
Is there a free trial?+

Does it work on Mac?+

Do I need internet?+
Yes, Hive checks your plan when it opens and uses Hive Cloud AI to find moments. Your video files are cut and rendered on your own PC and never uploaded. Only the transcript text goes to Hive Cloud so the AI can read it.
Can I cancel any time?+
Yes. Plans are monthly or yearly and you can cancel whenever you like. Your clips stay on your PC.
